What We Offer

Whilst carrying out surveys for Energy Performance Certificates, we will also provide Recommendations on ways to improve your property's energy efficiency, thus saving money as well as helping the environment.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES (EPCs) display the amount of energy used in a building by form of an illustration, enabling carbon emissions to be shown graphically. Equally importantly, they provide information on how reductions can be made in energy usage and carbon emissions if the Recommendations after the survey are adopted.

EPCs are commissioned by the owner or landlord from either a Domestic or Non-Domestic Energy Assessor who visits the property in order to collect the relevant data for creating the Energy Performance Certificate. This data includes location, type and date of construction together with information on heating systems, double glazing, insulation, etc.

The EPC indicates the property's energy efficiency on a scale of A-G (with A being the most efficient) and the impact this has on the environment, as better-rated properties should have less impact through carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The average house in the UK is in bands D-E for both ratings.
